What is geography?
Geography is the science that studies planet Earth, the people who live there and how they affect it. Geography covers a wide range of topics. For example, it studies countries and their relations, the oceans, mountains, rivers and lakes, as well as climate changes and other ecological issues.
Like the periodic table in chemistry, geography has its own tool — the map.

Geography is divided into human geography and physical geography. Human geography deals with people and the way they affect our planet, while physical geography focuses on natural features of the planet Earth.
